Ocean swimming, surf education and body surfing are taught on Noosa Main Beach and the Noosa River Mouth area as preliminary study to becoming a surfdancer.
For those people wishing to surf, surf dance and be comfortable with the ocean, Surfdance Manager Peppie Long is offering beginner to advanced swimming and surf saftey lessons. Lessons cover stroke correction, swimming training, body surfing, floating and wave negotiation techniques.
