About the Manager of Noosa Surfdancers
1 April 05Gold Medallist Australian Surf Champion promotes womens surfing and respect for the ocean in Noosas new and innovative learn to surfdance school.
Peppie Long, past state surfboard riding champion and initiator of the Womens Federation of Surfing in Victoria is continuing to pass on her ocean knowledge and surfing skills to children in Noosa through the artistic medium surfdancing™. Not only is Peppie a recent gold medallist in the Surf Life Saving movement, Peppie has 20 years experience as a swim coach, has starred in flim, theatre and formed her own production company. Peppie is a dancer that has studied jazz, tap and classical ballet. Peppies dolphin spirituality, champion ocean women status and passion for the arts has placed her as the Noosa manger of Surfdancer Pty Ltd. Peppie Long starred as a surfdancer in the first public display of surfdancing at the recent Noosa Festival of Surfing 2005.
